Fibrosis

What Is Fibrosis?
Fibrosis after liposuction is always a possible risk. Some people are even inherently predisposed, genetically.
It is a natural part of your body’s healing process.
When you have lipo your body works to repair and reorganize the treated area.
However, sometimes fibrosis sneaks in as a response to tissue damage, causing the formation of fibrous and scar tissue that result in lumps or hardening underneath the skin
*If you have a fibrosis you need a fibrosis treatment A.S.A.P. Do not wait!*

How Long Does Fibrosis Last?
How long fibrosis lasts can change from person to person. It may be better in a week or it could take a few months.
That's why at the FIRST SIGHT OF FIBROSIS, you NEED TO COME IN so we can start treating it RIGHT AWAY!
Unfortunately, the longer you wait, the worse fibrosis can get
*Also remember treatment options may vary depending on the severity and specific case*
*The earlier fibrosis is treated the more effective the treatment will be*

Genetics
Dolls are surprised to know that your genes play a role in whether you get fibrosis or not. If your family has a history of fibrosis or fibrotic tissues, you’re more likely to get it

Not Moving Around
When you don’t move enough, it slows down blood flow, increasing your chances of fibrosis

Scar Size
Larger scars increase the chances for fibrosis
