Before Care Instructions

We strongly suggest that you avoid the following products and procedures for at least one week before your scheduled appointment:
-
Electrolysis, waxing, or depilatory creams on the treatment area.
-
Laser hair removal (IPL) or any other cosmetic treatment on the treatment area.
-
Any procedure that may dry or irritate your skin, such as washing with hot water (at least tepid)
By following these guidelines, you can help reduce the risk of skin irritation, while making sure your treatments go smoothly.
You can go back to your usual activities after your
treatment. Just remember to drink lots of water. It helps keep your
skin hydrated and flushes out any
products from the fat
cells through the lymphatic system.
We also suggest eating a healthy, balanced diet
and doing regular exercise. This helps avoid any
future bodyfat deposits after treatments.
-
Reducing alcohol, caffeine, fatty foods, excess carbohydrates, and sugar intake will also help prevent new fat formation. It's the perfect time to start exploring new healthy food options.
-
If you feel discomfort after the treatment, no need to worry- over-the-counter painkillers are OK. (It is important to note most clients don't feel pain even though we know everyone is different)
-
You must regularly use a mild moisturizer/sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30/Clear Medical Tone & Defense Skin Oil to keep your skin hydrated. If you you’ve a radiofrequency treatment simultaneously, keep the skin hydrated at all times.
-
Use cool or lukewarm water when washing the treated area gently, with a mild wash, and if required, apply moisturizer regularly throughout the day to avoid any dryness sensation.
-
Please avoid picking, scratching, or rubbing the treated area. It's best to avoid exposing yourself to extreme heat for at least 48 hours after your treatment. That means no saunas, steam rooms, or jacuzzis. You can still enjoy a warm shower or bath, though!
-
Also avoid extreme cold temperatures for at least 48 hours
